Brandinium is a free brand availability and research tool operated by BrandCat. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data required to operate the service.

Brandinium data is processed on BrandCat-operated infrastructure. This means that technical data, search queries, cached results, and self-hosted analytics data may be stored or processed by our frontend and backend systems.

What data we collect

• Search queries - used to perform trademark, domain, and social handle checks.
• Technical data - such as IP address, request timestamps, and user agent, strictly for security, rate limiting, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
• Temporary cache data - search results may be cached locally or in our databases to improve performance and reduce repeated lookups.
• Self-hosted analytics data - used to understand basic website usage, such as which pages are visited, where visitors generally came from, and how visitors move through the site.

Cached results are stored for a limited time and automatically expire. This data is used solely for functional, security, performance, and service-improvement purposes.

Analytics

We use self-hosted analytics on our own infrastructure. We configure this analytics system without analytics cookies.

We do not use third-party analytics services, such as Google Analytics, advertising pixels, third-party analytics cookies, or cross-site advertising trackers.
